Honeybee Photographie: Portrait Pricing

Hello, and thank you for your interest in HoneyBee Photographie!!

I am so excited to get with you and create some great images together!!

As a photographer and also a writer; I love story-telling. I believe that it is very important to bring out your character and express your personality through each photograph, while not simply letting my own style and personality over-power yours, by posing you the way I feel is "correct"... I believe that images are powerful, and with the right manner of photographing a portrait, you can tell a silent story of imagery which reflects your personality and tells your story.

The images that I love to create vary on such a vast scale from really still and peaceful to chaotically crazy and fun, so basically all you have to do is to let your own style shine, and I will follow with my camera to capture it. :)

If possible, I would love to talk with you for about ten to twenty minutes before our session, (this part will not be included in the hour(s) of our session), so that we can become completely comfortable around one another, and discuss all that we have in mind for your session; because I believe that it is important that we are both on the same page, and also it is important for me to know the person I am about to tell a photographic story of.
I'll ask you what you love, what you don't like, and what you're looking for when these images are all finished so that I can produce the best possible outcome for you.

I would also love to know the music you really love. I recommend {highly recommend} for you to bring your favorite music along with you, so that we can use it to further set the mood of your session. I love shooting my sessions to music very much, because music is such an emotive thing; it can completely relax you so that you feel more comfortable, more like yourself, happier, clearer of mind, more laid back... rather than standing in silence, being slowly zombified by the constant clicking of my camera.

Music will drown out the background noise, and keep you feeling comfortable and natural.

If you want your images to be fun and peppy, it's simple: Choose fun, energizing music. If you like the more mellow, emotive, "indie" feel,

then someone like The Civil Wars or Andrew Belle would be perfect!

I’d like for your images to be personal for you... not just another
image in the mix of my portfolio.
I want your photos to stand out from the others, and for the others to all stand out from the next. And I believe that having your favorite music playing–inspiring that–is just one of the ways to do it! :)
So be prepared to bring along a CD or an iPod with a playlist of your favorite songs!

Once more, I believe that my job is to bring out your personality and preserve your style within these photographs. And with experience, and hours upon hours of poring through thousands of all different types of photographer's blogs and websites, (from the locals to international), I have found that it is actually rare to find a photographer that really captures an entire session with their subject's personality in mind; to really showcase that little gleam hiding behind their eyes. When they do, they are amazing; and that is why I strive to do just that.
Most photographers get set in their own style and forget to look for their subject's personality... they focus too hard on creating that "picture-perfect" pose, causing them to completely over-power their subject's style with their own.

Seeing "what not to do" was actually one of my biggest learning tools, especially with wedding photography, as that was what made me start professionally in the first place. I vowed never to let myself slip into the clichés and normal photographic "comfort-zones" that keep photographers from their full potential.

Knowing that every session will be captured just a little better than the last, remembering that every wedding will play out differently and will have it's own ups and downs, and most of all; a statement that I now live by... a photograph can only be timeless if you allow the moment to happen naturally; then capture it and present it, knowing that it is just one piece of the bigger picture... one page of the storybook to still be written.

If you're worried about what to wear for our session, don't be! Just remember this: our session is to show off your personality; you. So, wear your favorite outfit. It doesn't have to be your most fancy, or your most "stylish", just choose what you feel the most comfortable and the most like You in. :)

Both of my packages are completely dedicated to you and your needs, so if there is anything you would like added to these, (prints, album, cards, etc.) I would be more than happy to create a custom package for you!

Baby-Bee Sessions: {the first-year package}

Six Portrait Sessions for the price of Four!

$985 (can be payed in full or in 5 payments of $197)

Sessions included:

Maternity* - Newborn* - Three Months* - Six Month* - Nine Months* - One Year

*payments due at the end of these sessions.

Each session includes:

»––––› Custom-covered Disk of 125-150 images, selected by the photographer.

Once we have come to the end:

»––––› One 20 page: 8X8 photo book, with a collection of images from each session.

Photo books come in a wonderful selection of colors in either leather (left) or linen (right)

⚠ A travel charge of 0.75/mile will be applied after the first 25 miles beyond Nutbush, TN.

Once you have booked your session with a quoted price, you are locked into that price, regardless of future changes.

⚠ A Non-refundable $20.00 security deposit is required to book a date. Remaining payment is made on the day of your session. Cash and Checks only. (a small fee is added for use of checks.) I do not currently offer PayPal, but I will soon!!

⚠ Turn around time for delivery of the Custom-Covered Disk is on average 2-3 weeks.
